Is to offer our clients an ever-growing range of products that are ‘Freed From’ whatever our customers want to avoid.

If you buy a Freed From product, you will know with great confidence that what you are buying does not contain what has been removed, or it was never in the product in the first place.

Stage 1:

The First 12 Months

Over the past year, Freed From embarked on a remarkable journey exploring the world’s finest non-alcoholic beverages using a Team of up to twenty sommeliers and researchers spanning the globe. We reviewed and sampled over 7,000 non-alcoholic wines, spirits, and elixirs, in our quest for the finest.

Although the best non-alcoholic producers are scattered across the world, the market has shifted spectacularly over the last three years. Through the journey, we uncovered some truly extraordinary varieties from vineyards and spirit producers. We have been using individual sommeliers and tasters in each continent to judge the ‘First Taste’ of each product, and around 9% of what we have tasted internationally was then sent to our offices in London.

Out of the 7,500 drinks, a colossal 550 non-alcoholic wines and 180 alcohol-free Spirits & Elixirs were chosen and presented to The Independent Wine Panel (‘T.I.P’) and the Spirits Independent Panel (‘S.I.P’) respectively, for their assessment and review.

From these expert’s tireless work during these tastings, we are delighted to now have a list of which over 300 products ‘Made the Grade™’.

The Evolution of Non-Alcoholic Drinks

To say that people are now looking for the best alternative to alcoholic drinks is an understatement. The days of being able to choose between a sugary soda or sparkling water as an alternative to a fine glass of wine or a zesty alcoholic cocktail are over. Whether you love to drink, but maybe not at every opportunity, or you never have or you never intend to again, then the Freed From team will introduce you to a whole new world of flavours.

Freed From is busy engaging some of the biggest names in viticulture, mixology and brewing to ensure that what we recommend is a collection of the world’s best non-alcoholic drinks.

The team at Freed From is led by Charles Davies who went dry but hopefully never preachy about alcohol many years ago. The management team at Freed From in Europe will be headed by Jose Rato who has worked with Charles for many years. Adam Ilko, one of Australia’s finest exports, will be building the team with Charles and Jose and project managing many aspects of the group’s development.

Freed From is also keen to invest in suppliers who it works with and respects. Freed From has access to the funds to do so.

So, we raise a glass to the best alternatives out there that promote happiness, well-being and long and healthy lives.
